Welcome Event

Thanks to everyone who came to our Welcome Event!

On Monday 9 November, the AHPGR Forum held an open event in Jessop West foyer to advertise the availability of funding to prospective applicants from across the Arts and Humanities.The evening saw a wide-range of ideas in development from all corners of the faculty, including the modernist reading group, the early modern discussion group, and the possibility of developing a conference on the Digital Humanities. Members of the Forum were on hand to talk with applicants, and to foster the interdisciplinary focus in project organisation the Forum aims to facilitate. Attendees were provided with physical documents detailing on how to apply for funding, as well as the Forum’s guidelines (not to mention plenty of wine and snacks…).

It was great to meet so many interested people and we look forward to receiving your applications. Remember the deadline for applications is Monday 30 November.
